Ensuring correct torque applied to a Maserati

21/03/2014

Application:
Maserati needed to be 100% sure the track rod end securing nuts were tightened after the cars steering geometry had been set at the factory.

Solution:
A TBN 135 switch ensures not only incorrect tightening is unlikely due to the 20° break giving the operator time to react and stop applying torque, but the switch sends a signal to the production line computer to confirm the tightening has happened.
