Asian visit

Asian visit

At the beginning of August, Key Account Manager Matt Burman travelled to Asia for a week to meet customers and distributors in Japan, Korea and China. Matt joined Torqueleader in May, and his first visit to this area was to make introductions in person, learn the business needs of our partners and find out how Torqueleader can help them to drive their sales forward.

Matt is pictured third from the left at a meeting at the offices of KATCO (Korea Automation Technology Company) in Seoul, where he learned more about KATCO's customers and discussed the key segments within the Korean market.

He also spent time at ESCO in Osaka, Japan, and finally visited Gedore's impressive new premises in Shanghai, China. The team took Matt out on his last night for a traditional Chinese meal and a karaoke evening, where he was persuaded to serenade the assembled company with a rendition of the Robbie Williams hit 'Angels'.
