Torqueleader welcomes Peter Shafe

Torqueleader is delighted to welcome Peter Shafe to the team as Research and Development Manager; he will be responsible for new product development as well as working on the continuous improvement of our current line of torque tools. Peter has dual UK/US nationality; he was born in Chertsey in Surrey, achieved his degree in engineering mechanics and astronautics at the University of Wisconsin, and more recently has been living and working in Chicago. Peter is married and outside work he enjoys cooking and taking part in triathlons.

Peter's first project will involve working on the expansion of the popular Capture Calibration System range. During his first few weeks at Torqueleader he has been spending time in all the different departments, getting to know the products and the business. Peter said 'I've been particularly impressed with the people on assembly and on the factory floor. They are extremely knowledgeable about their work and take a great deal of pride in the quality of the products they produce.'
