Torqueleader's Torque Screwdrivers ideal for correct tightening of hose clips

Torqueleader take tightening of your application seriously whatever it is.

Jubilee® is a registered trademark of L Robinson & Co Ltd, Gillingham, UK, who invented the Hose Clip (Jubilee Clip) in 1921.

A hose clip is a circular metal band or strip combined with a worm gear fixed to one end.

It is designed to hold a soft, pliable hose onto a rigid circular pipe of smaller diameter.

These are best known for their use on automotive cooling systems.

To ensure that the clips are tight enough to prevent leaks and are not over tightened, so causing a hose to split, the manufacturers publish recommended tightening torques.

These torque values range from 3 to 6 N.m for standard hose clips, and hence a preset TLS Screwdriver or a Quickset Adjustable Screwdriver are ideal for this application.
